nwStory is a generic name for a pair of utilities created as an aid to Neverwinter Nights adventurers in writing tales of their online exploits by making use of the NWN chat log.
Cleave is a simple GUI application for viewing NWN chat logs colour coded by chat mode, similar to how text is displayed in the NWN chat window. Cleave also supports filtering chat lines by player name and/or chat mode. The tool can also export a filtered log back to plain text, or to HTML with all colours preserved.
Clobber is a command line tool. It will launch the NWN game or DM client and automatically backup the chat log on exit. By launching the game with Clobber players and DMs need never worry about accidently overwriting a valuable chat log.
Currently binaries of Cleave are available for Linux & Windows. A port to MacOS X is in the works. A binary of Clobber is currently available for Windows. A port to Linux & MacOS X is currently in the works.
